The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (OSDH) reported today that more than 78 people, including nine civilians, were killed this Thursday, October 5, 2023, in a drone attack which targeted the Homs Military Academy, in Syria, where an officer promotion ceremony was held.
The Syrian Minister of Defense and the governor of Homs who were present at this ceremony were not impacted during this attack.
