In the finance bill for the year 2020, it was suggested to build a fund to support justice and its independence.
To fund it, it was proposed to include a “tax on justice”, in the form of a fiscal stamp to the value of 10 dinars, as recommended by Judge Moez Ben Fraj.
10./. from the amounts of certain fines will likewise be charged, according to the same project to finance the fund in question, in addition to donations and aid.
Recall that the judge and member of the Magistrates’ Union, Moez Ben Fraj had already declared that contrary to what most people think, the Tunisian judge suffered from poverty, suggesting that a stamp of 10 dinars on all litigants in order to solve this problem.
