The representative of the German global tourism and travel group TUI said that the tourist bookings to Tunisia recorded an increase between 25 to 30% compared to 2022.
“The figures mark the beginning of a promising tourist season with nearly 50,000 additional seats which have been scheduled on the German leader’s flights to Tunisia, especially for British tourists,” the same source said.
The German group TUI has reserved 16 planes to weekly flights from British airports to Tunisia in addition to 7 planes to board Belgian tourists to Tunisia and 12 sea carriers starting from next week.
Customers made reservations very early this year to a point where several hotel units announced overbooking, particularly in Sousse, Hammamet and Djerba.
