Tunisia-4 thousand cartridges for Kalashnikov discovered in the desert of Douz

The National security units in Kebili found eight boxes containing 4,000 cartridges of 7.62 calibres of Kalashnikov rifle hidden underground in the desert area of om Al Arjam, 8 km south of the city of Douz.

While carefully searching commissioned officers unsealed an old refrigerator, containing 8 boxes hiding the discovered items.

The Gorjani National Anti-Terrorist Unit promptly took over the official inquiry of the incident in effective coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
