Tunisia-5 Tunisian immigrants rescued off Monastir

Five Tunisian irregular immigrants were saved by the national Navy 40 nautical miles east of Monastir while they were heading to the Italian coast in an inflatable boat that was about to sink.
The five are aged between 20 and 34 years old, according to a declaration from the Ministry of Defence.
When interrogated, they admitted to having set sail on July 7 from the coast of Sousse.
They were all delivered
to the Monastir National Guard units to take the necessary measures against them, the press release reads.
