The Tunisian consulate general in Misrata, Taoufik Kacem announced that after the return of six Tunisian minors to their country, the rest of the children (around 54 children) and their mothers will soon be expatriated. A technical team will also be dispatched to check the identity of the remains of those presumed of having Tunisian nationality.
Previously,the head of the state recived six Tunisian orphaned children who were repatriated from Libya after being rescued, attended for and protected by the Libyan Red Crescent in Misrata after the conflict in 2016 in Sirte against the terrorist organisation Daesh.
