The Administrative Court has formally refused to stop the implementation of the ruling of the Supreme Judicial Council to lift the judicial immunity of the first president of the Court of Appeal Taieb Rashid, Mosaique FM reported.
Taieb Rashid had appealed to the Administrative Court against the Judicial Council’s ruling to suspend his membership in the Council, and the Administrative Court refused his appeal for “lack of jurisdiction”.
He further submitted a request to halt the implementation of the lifting of his judicial immunity, which was similarly rejected this week.
