The Directorate of Basic Health Care declared , in a press release published yesterday, that 300 cases of cervical cancer were registered in Tunisia in 2023.
Clarifying that it is the 4th most common cancer among women, the management in question highlighted the significance of screening.
“Scientific studies proved many years ago that the “human papillomavirus” (HPV) is responsible for the appearance of most cases of cervical cancer,” it reads. in the press release reported by TAP.
