Tunisia-Algeria and Tunisia sign 26 agreements

Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani and his Algerian counterpart Aïmene Benabderrahmane oversaw the signing of 26 agreements and memorandums of understanding in the sectors of the interior, national education, vocational training, tourism, transport, labour and social assistance, in addition to the social assistance, culture and sports sectors.

Mr Hachani stated, following the joint government commission of the two countries, today Wednesday in Algiers, that these agreements contribute to consolidating and further diversifying bilateral relations between Tunisia and Algeria.

Hachani disclosed that recommendations have been made to advance joint cooperation and work will be carried out to execute them.

He emphasised that both parties want the recommendations to receive special follow-up and commit to holding technical meetings on them according to the agreed dates.
