Minister of Women, Family, Child and Elderly Affairs and Government spokesperson Asma Shiri said that the government has no plan to request an extension on the delegation of powers which was approved by the House of People’s Representatives (HPR).
In a statement to Mosaïque FM, she considered that the cabinet has succeeded in implementing the decree, which increases confidence between the legislative and executive branches and establishes the need to activate Chapter 70 whenever the need arises.
