Political analyst Bassel Torjmane voiced on Sunday, December 26, 2021, that the detection of a phone call about an attempted assassination of state officials in Tunisia is a grave development in the political conflict.

In a statement to a private Arabiya TV, he added that the threat to assassinate the President of the Republic started in November 2019, cautioning of the danger of moving from threats to planning assassinations.
