Education Minister Mohamed Hamdi confirmed that the best national average for the main baccalaureate session was over 20/20.
One student in fact obtained the average of 20.15 out of 20. The student is Ahmed Kallala, mathematics section of the pilot high school in Monastir.
Mohamed Hamdi explained that, according to a decision of April 24, 2008, the marks obtained by each candidate in an optional subject higher than ten out of twenty are calculated without counting the coefficients.
According to him, this allowed this student to reach this unprecedented average.
