The National Agency for Energy Management (ANME) and the Banking and Financial Council (CBF) today formalized their commitment to the energy transition. The two sides inked a framework collaboration and partnership agreement.
This agreement seeks to reinforce the role of the banking and financial sector in the enactment of the national strategy for the energy transition.
“The agreement arises from the close collaboration between the two institutions for years with an ambitious action plan born from their common wish to strengthen their cooperation to promote financing mechanisms and solutions favouring the energy transition and the decrease of CO2 emissions aligned with the objectives of the Tunisian National Level Determination (CDN).”, we read in a press release from the CBF.
It added that the signing of this agreement aims to mobilize all the technical and financial resources required for the realization of projects focused on energy efficiency, renewable energies and environmental sustainability.
