The governorate of Beja reached a breaking record in the death tally from the coronavirus.
Head of the medical committee in Beja regional hospital Dr Mohamed Ali Bou Galeba confirmed that eight deaths were recorded from COVID-19 in 24 hours.
It should be noted that Beja and others governorates of the republic are hitting breaking records recently in the deaths and infection daily tally. However, this first time for such a death toll to be registered in one day.
