Following news according to which, the Bizerte clinic would have seized the body of a man who passed away from coronavirus, until the payment a bill worth 72 thousand dinars, the director of the clinic Mohamed Gabsi intervened, this Thursday, November 12, 2020, to clarify the occurring.
Speaking to Shems FM, Gabsi assured that “the clinic never held the body of the deceased against payment of the bill.”
“The clinic has lived up to its ethical, human and professional commitments,” he added.
Speaking to the same source, the official ensured that “the clinic has all the helping documents”, indicating that “the Ministry of Health has sent inspectors to verify the situation.”
