The terrorism prevention units of the National Guard district in Bizerte were able to apprehend an individual wanted by the various security units and judicial structures for membership in a terrorist organization. The person was convicted to three years in prison, according to a report from the General Directorate of the National Guard.
The same source reports that a joint patrol between a public security centre and intelligence units in the National Guard district of Sidi Bouzid, with the participation of terrorism prevention units in the district of Sidi Bouzid, was able to arrest a Takfirist member who was wanted and condemned to two years in prison.
