129 more confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 112 domestic were recorded from 1404 tests carried out on August 17, the Health Ministry announced on Tuesday. The reported one new death.
In its daily report on the epidemiological situation in the country, the Health Department reported a total of 144 positive tests divided as follows:129 new cases including 112 locals,17 imported and 15 previous cases.
The number of overall infection cases has therefore reached 1370 shared out as follows: 887 recoveries, 57 deaths and 887 active cases, including 20 hospitalised and 8 in the intensive care unit.
