Tunisia has recorded 1417 coronavirus infections and 54 new deaths from the virus on December 31, the health ministry reported on Friday night.
Subsequently, the infection tally has reached 140.557 so far, against 4.730 deaths. Meanwhile, recoveries increased by 435 to 105,499.
1535 COVID-19 patients have been hospitalised of whom 329 are in ICU and 125 under ventilators in public and private health facilities
