Tunisia has registered 2611 coronavirus infections and 45 new deaths from the virus on January 8th the health ministry reported on Saturday night.
Consequently, the infection tally has reached 157,415 so far, against 5153 deaths. Meanwhile, recoveries grew by 1353 to 116,526
1647 COVID-19 patients have been hospitalised of whom 342 are in ICU and 118 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
