On Friday night, the Ministry of Health declared the presence of 4 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number of people tested positive for the virus in the country to 998.
The ministry highlighted in a declaration, “Following a total of 569 lab tests, 23 cases tested positive, of which 4 were new cases and 19 were previously confirmed cases who were still infected with this virus.”
So far, as many as 316 cases were successfully recovered in the country, while the death toll reached 41, according to the statement.
It stressed, “The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients attained 65, including 24 patients in intensive care units.”
