A further 2.312 people tested positive for coronavirus after 6.188 tests were performed on October 4 and 5, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday. This takes total infection numbers to 24.542.
43 more COVID-19 fatalities were reported, bringing the death toll to 364 the Ministry further said.
452 patients are currently hospitalised, including 124 in intensive care and 54 on life support.
