Tunisia-Breaking news: Counter-terrorism judicial pole freezes the assets of Hamadi Jebali and Rached Ghannouchi and their families

The counter-terrorism judicial pole ordered, on Tuesday, the freezing of the assets of many people, as part of the judicial investigation into money laundering through associations. This decision impacted 10 people, including former prime minister Hamadi Jebali and his two daughters, as well as Rached Ghannouchi, his son Mouâdh and his son-in-law Rafik Bouchleka.

With this court decision, the different banking institutions and the Tunisian post office are required to freeze the assets of these individuals and their accounts, and to send a statement of these accounts to the investigating judge in charge of the inquiry.
