Tunisia Health Ministry revealed 1.086 people tested positive for the COVID-19 in the country on February 9 marking a sharp increase in infections compared to the 811 cases registered on February 8.
The figure brings the country’s total to 219.650. Additionally, with 46 new fatalities attributed to the virus, the nation’s death toll reaches 7.378.
1.678 COVID-19 patients have been hospitalised of whom 360 are in ICU and 140 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
