30 more coronavirus fatalities and 577 infections from 3.644 screening tests conducted on March 13 were reported, announced the Health Ministry on Sunday night.
The death toll consequently reached 8.389 while the infection tally reached 241.834 cases, including 207.686 recoveries following the recovery of 322 further persons, according to the same source.
1,071 hospitalisations were recorded on the same date, including 284 in intensive care units and 102 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
