The Ministry of Health declared on Sunday, 17, 2020 no new cases of COVID-19, consequently Managing the infection toll in the country at 1037 while The death toll is stable at 45.
The ministry indicated in a statement, “ 9 cases tested positive of which all of them were previously confirmed cases”. The ministry also specified that 816 patients have recovered.
The statement said that 176 are still carrying the virus while 3 are hospitalized.
The ministry has also stated that laboratory tests are mainly carried out on people suspected of having contracted the virus and those who have had contact with confirmed cases.
The Ministry, therefore, urged citizens to fully respect the law and comply with the measures of isolation and general lockdown across all the regions, to stem the spread of the virus.
