9 COVID-19 deaths and 661 infections were reported in a week (April 18-24) from 9,579 tests, taking the caseload to 1,040,193 and the death toll to 28,550, the Health Ministry declared.
The number of recoveries increased by 886, hitting 1,026,075.
33 new hospitalisations in public and private healthcare facilities were likewise reported during the same period, the ministry added.
