Tunisia-Currency transfers made by Tunisians living in France contributed to 44.2 %

According to statistics issued by the Tunisian Office Abroad (ketch), the transfer of currencies conducted by Tunisians living in France contributed to 44.2 % of all the transfers made by Tunisians resident abroad In 2021, an amount of 3807.9 million dinars.

All transfers in currency made by Tunisians resident abroad amount to 8599 million dinars, most of which (86.9%) in European countries like France (44.2%), Germany (16.9% ) and Italy (13.5%).

Still, according to the same source, the total amount of global transfers by Tunisian -residents in Arab countries is 885.3 million dinars, or 10.3% of all transfers, most of which are residents in Saudi Arabia (4.2%).
