Tunisia-Dams: 130.3 million m3 less overall reserve compared to 2022

As of August 10, 2023, the dam filling rate attained 31.6%. Dam filling rates stand at 37.2% in the North, 12.7% in the Centre and 7.6% in Cap Bon, the National Observatory for Agriculture (ONAGRI) reported on Tuesday.

Overall dam reserves, therefore, attained 734.1 million m3 as of August 10, 2023, compared to 864.4 million m3 during the same period of 2022, i.e. a decline of 130.3 million m3 (-15.1% ).

Overall inflows as of August 10, 2023 reached 686.7 million m3, down from the average for the period (1,864.4 million m3) and compared to the inflows registered in the same period last year (1,099 .4 million m3).
