Minister of Health Faouzi Mahsi laid out the primary data on the order of the vaccination against Covid-19 in Tunisia.
Regarding the purchase of the vaccine, he explained that the monitoring is secured by a specialized scientific committee which has so far received the authorization to procure 4 million doses to vaccinate two million Tunisian citizens.
In this sense, he recalled that Tunisia will have a number of vaccines covering 20% of its population, in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO), which will undertake the equitable distribution of vaccines to countries.
