Tunisia-Dispatched Medical army to Italy lands safely in Tunisia

An army plane carrying the medical team that was dispatched to Italy to help fight the COVID -19 pandemic has landed safely at the military airbase Sidi Ahmed in Bizerte after finishing their two weeks mission in  Lombardy which is one of the hardest-hit regions.
The team was sent after a call between President Kais Saied and his Italien counterpart Sergio Mattarella, in which the head of the state expressed Tunisia readiness to send a military medical team to provide assistance and show the synergy and solidarity of Tunisia with Italy.
The medical mission compted it two weeks mission successfully amid high praise by Italien officials who hailed the Tunisian team for its high competence and distinguished experience.
The team were subjected to medical tests before arriving that proved that they didn’t contract the coronavirus, they will spend 14 days in self-isolation.
