The National Blood Transfusion Center announced that blood stocks have hit a risky level, which threatens certain blood donation operations, particularly in urgent cases.
On its Facebook page, the centre launched an appeal for blood donations to save this situation deemed critical.
“We are counting on your generosity to help children with thalassemia so that they can have a peaceful holiday and go back to school and to deal with emergencies (road accidents, haemorrhage during delivery, cancer patients)”, a- we communicated.
The centre also reminds that its teams are available at its headquarters in Bab Saadoun from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on December 30 and 31, 2020 and from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on January 1, 2021.
