Forty candidates have properly submitted their nomination files for the upcoming presidential election to the Independent High Authority for the Elections (ISIE) on the sixth day before the final deadline.

11 candidates submitted their nomination on Wednesday the candidates are Moncef Marzouki, Hamma Hammami, Abdelkarim Zbidi, Mohamed Sghaier Noury, Hadroug Habib, Ahmed Alnafessah, Sami Shaaban, Mehrez Chikhaoui, Fathi Sardouk, Badreddine Brini and Rkaia Hafi.
