Kram Mayor, Fathi Laayouni, stated he was angered by the actions of the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, during a statement to IFM on June 10, 2020.
The President of the Republic went to for Friday prayers in Kram without informing the mayo which Fathi Laayouni. Laayouni r said the president had outright violated the constitution by neglecting the entire 7th chapter on the local authority.
According to him, Kaïs Saïed should have informed him of this displacement since he is under his authority as mayor. He added that he was going to send official correspondence to the President of the Republic to express his dissatisfaction.
