Ennahdha parliamentary bloc officially submitted a proposal to create a zakat fund in the 2020 state budget draft , announced provisional Finance Committee Moez Hajj Rhouma.
The fund accumulated revenue will come from individuals, institutions and donations of religious and humanitarian dimension, added Rhouma.
Later on, the funds will go to the benefits of students, unemployed youth and families in need.
Moreover, he asserted that a national committee is set to supervise the zakat fund with an estimated revenue of 2,000 million dinars.
