The European Union extended its deepest congratulation to president-elect Kais saied on winning the presidency. A one that reflects the will of Tunisians to continue the democratic process which started in 2011.
The EU also reaffirmed its willingness to continue its support to Tunisia in all areas. They additionally wish to “deepen the EU-Tunisia partnership to meet common challenges while upholding values and principles that underlie it”.
