A source close to the G7 in Tunis told Tunisie Numerique that the group was quite pleased with Kaïs Saïed’s last address which he gave last night as it meets the most essential of their expectations, namely the establishment of a clear timetable with fixed deadlines, for the return to democratic bodies.
Questioned whether this advance would permit the release of financial aid to Tunisia from the G7 countries, our speaker confirmed that this was possible, though on condition that the government implements the major reforms that were requested, in particular the economic reforms, in relationship with the deduction of the wage bill and the support of the compensation fund of consumer products.
