Minister of health Faouzi Mahdi stated he was optimistic about the epidemiological situation. Nevertheless, vigilance continues to be essential.
Mr Mahdi declared that “the epidemiological situation is currently stable”. This results in a corresponding reduction in the number of infections and deaths. He stressed that the stability of the situation cannot conceal the fact that the number of patients sheltered in hospitals is still high ”. According to the minister, this is the result of non-compliance with preventive measures by citizens.
