Foreign Minister Noureddine Erray on Tuesday received a phone call from his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Bin Abdullah, during which the two counterparts reviewed approaches to strengthen and develop the brotherly and partnership relationships between the two brotherly countries.
The two ministers examined the economic and health situation in the two countries in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Foreign Affairs Department announced in a statement.
The Saudi Foreign Minister highlighted the extent of the fraternal relations tying the two peoples of Saudi Arabia and Tunisia, asserting his country’s determination to further broaden economic cooperation with Tunisia in the common interest of both countries.
The meeting was also an opportunity to exchange views on several regional and international issues of common interest, including developments of the situation in Libya, the statement reads.
