Former Governor of Gabes Mosbeh Kardamin, who was dismissed last week, was heard by the Legal Search Brigade of the National Guard, spokesperson for the First Instance Court of Gabes said.
He added that the Justice Ministry announced the launch of an investigation into an embezzlement case against him.
The former governor was kept free, the same source said.
