Minister of Women Amel Belhadj Moussa and minister of Health, Ali Mrabet, proceeded, this Monday, March 14, 2022, to the signing of a circular to issue free medical certificates to Tunisian women victims of violence.
According to a press release published by the Department of Women, this circular purposes to facilitate access to care and the affiliated costs for the advantage of these women. The Ministry of Family and Women has succeeded in updating the national strategy to fight violence against women which was approved in March 2021 and is operating to strengthen multi-sectoral coordination by examining the role of regional coordination committees in the fight against violence against women.
