The Embassy of France in Tunisia has declared that given the impact of the health crisis on the Tunisian health system for various weeks, travellers going to Tunisia are strongly urged to complete their vaccination program before their departure. From July 1, 2021, unvaccinated travellers over 12 years old entering Tunisia must:
- present a negative PCR test, carried out less than 72 hours before the first boarding
- make a pledge to respect a self-isolation of seven days from their arrival in Tunisia
- fulfil the mandatory information requested on this site before boarding (https://app.e7mi.tn/travelers/add) then print and sign the two documents created by the application: the health form and the entry form which will be provided to the Tunisian health services on arrival.
The embassy added that it is additionally recommended to indicate a Tunisian telephone number (for instance that of the person who accommodates you or of the hotel) to confirm the production of these documents. Vaccinated travellers (who have got their two doses for vaccines with two injections, one dose for vaccines requiring only one injection, and people who have received a dose of vaccine after becoming infected) are expected to give a negative PCR carried out less than 72 hours before the first boarding. In addition, since April 19, 2021, passengers on charter flights or those who have subscribed to an organized trip (“Inclusive Tour) need to comply with the following specific measures:
- presenting a negative PCR test, carried out no more than 72 hours before boarding (fully vaccinated travellers are exempt from PCR testing from July 1 to July 9, 2021, )
- engagement to stay in groups and to strictly uphold the Tunisian health protocol upon arrival in Tunisia, including tourist transport, accommodation and travel, both inside and outside the tourist accommodation establishments.
Sanitary measures in force in Tunisia From July 1, 2021:
- The targeted health measures set in place on June 26, 2021 will be reinforced throughout the territory:
- curfew from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. throughout Tunisia
- ban and suspension of all public events (parties, cultural events, weddings, etc.)
- strengthening of the monitoring of the application of sanitary protocols in spaces and shops.
At the local level, the authorities have decided on targeted measures according to the percentage rate
