Frozen MP Maher Zid was condemned to three years in prison on Wednesday at the military court in Tunis after a complaint filed by former Minister of Defense, Ghazi Jeribi. The latter was accused by Maher Zid of corruption in the case of the purchase of American helicopters at the time he was Minister of Defense.
Note that Maher Zid was judged in absentia as he is in a state of escape.
