Ennahdha leader Rached Ghannouchi told “public opinion” today that the decisions adopted on July 25 and those of September 22 heralded the victory of populism in the face of the Tunisian revolution.
He condemned the policy of the President of the Republic, Kais Saied, directed at establishing a military regime. Ghannouchi said what occurred on July 25 was “a true coup against the Constitution and the 2011 revolution”.
He stressed that the head of state, Kais Saied is attempting, by all means, to retain power indefinitely, stating”populism” is fleeting and will not last long.
