Ennahdha leader Rached Ghannouchi, is due to appear this Thursday before the investigating judge of the judicial pole for the fight against terrorism to be heard after a complaint filed by a security union.
The facts date back to last February during the funeral of one of the leaders of the Ennahdha movement. By paying tribute to the deceased, Ghannouchi stated that throughout his life he did not fear the “taghuts” (transgressors) in allusion to police officers. The union, accordingly, estimated that it was targeting the members of the security apparatus.
