Rached Ghannouchi, stopped his hunger strike which started on Monday, to avoid “health complications”.
According to what the defence collective of those arrested in the conspiracy against state security case announced on Wednesday.
The collective confirmed that Ghannouchi received a visit on Wednesday from a delegation from the Tunisian League for the Defense of Human Rights and another from the National Authority for the Prevention of Torture.
He added that Ghannouchi “decided to react to their request to stop his hunger strike to avoid serious complications in his state of health.”
