The government presidency issued a press release on December 20, 2020, after the slaughter shepherd Okba Ben Abdeddayem Dhibi by terrorists in the Slatnia region of the Hassi El-Ferid delegation (Kasserine governorate).
Prime minister Hichem Mechichi commanded the Minister of the Interior to travel to Kasserine in order to offer, on his behalf, his condolences and to present psychological and material aid to the martyr’s family, indicating that he’s still in self-quarantine.
The Prime Minister likewise instructed the Defense and Interior Ministers to scale up their efforts to reveal the circumstances of the terrorist operation, its perpetrators and planners in order to punish them, emphasising that the war on terrorism must proceed without pause and with the same firm resolution, to eliminate all those who undermine the security of Tunisians.
