Prime minister-designate Hichem Mechichi expressed gratitude for President of the republic for his designation and assuming a national responsibility.
He considered that Tunisia is bleeding today despite that living a revolution that called for development with no segregation,A one where the people awaited for equal chances for its children in Education, health care and services that meets its legitimate rights for a nation that respects its people, a one were Tunisians inside and abroad don’t feel discriminated.
He estimated that the reality between the revolution demands turned into an illusion and disappointment for many Tunisians, which led them to death boats in pursuit of hope that which was seen impossible in his homeland.
The designate PM pointed out that Tunisia is borrowing at a value of 15 billion dinars annually, and its debt will reach 80 billion dinars at the end of this year, asking: “What will we leave to our children and future generations?”
