In a statement released today by the Ministry of Health, it was announced that the occupancy rate of ICU units has reached 100% in three regions of grand Tunis, specifically: Ariana, Ben Arous and Manouba .
The occupancy percentage of intensive care beds in the governorate of Tunis attained 91%.
Intensive care services have, according to the ministry, reached their maximum reception capacity in most governorates including Nabeul, Kairouan Zaghouan, Gafsa and Kef, with the national average of 89.10%.
As for the occupancy rate of oxygen beds, the situation appears slightly better with a national average of 73.40%, according to the ministry statement.
