Tunisia- Imed Khmiri: Kais Saied did not deny receiving of the document published by the British site

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Ennahdha MP stated that from a strictly formal point of view, the meeting between the two heads of executive power conveys a positive message to Tunisians, and shows the image of a united nation.

However, for this to become concrete, the President of the Republic must put an ending to the blockage correlating to the finalization of the cabinet reshuffle and invite the new ministers to take the oath.

Concerning the alleged leaked presidency document, Khmiri said that the Ennahdha Movement “does not directly accuse the president of the republic.”

Nevertheless, he professed that Kais Saied did not expressly deny receipt of the document in question, calling for an inquiry into the dangerous allegations made in it.
