Minister of Commerce announced to MPs that her department intends to inject additional quantities of several food goods into the markets during Ramadan, to control prices and discourage speculators.
She reported that 3,000 tonnes of bulk sugar will be injected into the market during the last ten days of the holy month.
Import of 1,500 tonnes of subsidized vegetable oil in two batches. These quantities will be preferentially directed to the most deprived regions.
